Mike Tennent, an exercise expert said, “From an athlete’s standpoint it’s, ‘Hey. That’s cheating. You’re getting out of the hard part.’ “
“There’s no value in doing an Ironman to anybody but yourself,” he said. “You don’t benefit the world. You don’t benefit your family, especially with all the time you take away from them to train.”
If the pills are used to improve the lives of those who are physically not able to exercise, Tennent said he can see the value.
